Rubber wood is indigenous to Southwest Asia and throughout the past 30 years has
become a valuable component of the American furniture industry. Rubber wood is very
similar to American Oak but it is denser allowing for excellent carving and shaping.
Today rubber wood can be found in every room of a household, from kitchen counter tops to
solid wood bedroom furniture.

Our goal is to ensure a long life for your furniture and for our planet's resources. 75% of our packaging material comes from recycled products, and all of Ligo's products are manufactured from plantation grown rubber wood. We do not use wood from wild growth forests or rain forests. Today rubber wood is a prominent renewable resource in the furniture industry.
