Ligo Products has been one of America’s leading importers of solid wood furniture during the past 15 years. Our founder and president, Dr. S. S. Lee, began in 1989, importing casual dining furniture from Thailand. Since then Ligo has expanded into juvenile bedroom, occasional tables, barstools, and plasma tv stands

Over the years, our raw materials sourcing have expanded as well. In addition to solid rubberwood furniture from Thailand we now also offer solid and veneer product from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Our warehouse facility, centrally located in Mokena, IL, has 350,000 square feet of storage and assembly space.

Our reputation is built on providing consistent quality of product and in-stock immediate delivery. Our design team is constantly working with our sources to give our retailers the latest in home décor fashion.

Eco-Friendly Products

All of our solid wood products from Thailand are manufactured with 100%, plantation grown, sustainable rubberwood. All finishes are water based and all outer packaging is made with recycled paper products.

The Enduring Quality Of Rubberwood

Rubberwood is indigenous to Southwest Asia and in the past 30 years has become a valuable component of the American furniture industry. Rubberwood is very similar to American oak; but denser, allowing for excellent carving and shaping. Today, rubberwood is found in every room from kitchen counter tops to solid wood bedroom furniture.

Ligo Products Committment To The Environment

Ligo’s goal is a long life for your furniture and a long life for our planet. All Ligo products are manufactured from plantation grown rubberwood. We use no wood from rain forests or wild growth forests. 75% of our packaging material comes from recycled products.

Some 30 years ago the Rubber tree was burned after 25 years of latex extraction. Today it is a prominent renewable resource in the furniture industry.

How to take care of your furniture

Solid Wood Products

To maintain the beautiful finish on your Ligo furniture an occasional application of paste wax is strongly recommended. In dryer climates we recommend more frequent applications to prevent drying and cracking on the surface. When placing extremely hot or cold items on the surface, a place mat is recommended to protect the finish. Scratches or chips in the painted finish and clear lacquer will occur with normal wear. These may be repaired with a light sanding and a complimenting finish available at most home improvement stores. Wipe up spills quickly. Avoid prolonged contact with liquids.

Fabric Seats

Vacuum fabric regularly using a soft brush and low suction to remove dust and grit. Wipe gently using a soft damp cloth. Remove spills immediately using a sponge or soft cloth. Treat stains as soon as possible. Strictly follow directions of commercial fabric cleaners. Do not scrub or us abrasive cloths. Do not expose to direct sunlight, intense heat, or wet conditions. Do not rub hard in one spot. Do not dry clean. Do not machine wash. Do not use detergent solvents.

Marble Tops

Always remember to use coasters under drinking glasses. Many beverages and foods contain acids that will etch or dull stone surfaces. Do not place hot items directly onto stone surface. Use trivets under hot dishes and place mats under china, silverware, or other items that can scratch the surface. Marble is best cleaned with stone soap(available at most hardware stores) or a mild dishwashing detergent and warm water. After washing buff dry with soft cloth to prevent streaking and water spots. Blot up spills immediately. Stubborn stains can be removed by placing a cloth soaked in a mild bleach and water solution on the stain. Always use caution when using this procedure as too much bleach will permanently damage the marble color. If desired a non-yellowing car wax may be used to protect the surface and prevent water spotting. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, tub and tile cleaners, grout cleaners, etc.. DO NOT use lemon juice, vinegar, or other cleaners that contain acid.

Veneer Tops (Malindo collection)

Clean veneer tops as you would laminate or solid wood tops using a damp cloth or polish with commercial furniture polish such as Pledge.
